Parks in Europe you can’t miss

Cappadocia. Goreme, Türkiye.

When I travel, I love to visit parks. It makes a big difference on my day even if it’s a short stay, just to enjoy a bit nature… In Europe there are many beautiful national parks, so I’ve made a small list with some ideas for your next trip.

1. Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, in Italy. Dolomiti are part of the Alps and offer a lot of activities.

2. Hohe Tauern National Park, in Austria. Here you’ll find the highest mountain of the country. It’s surrounded by beautiful fields and great trees, waterfalls and valleys.

3. Plitvice Lakes National Park, in Croatia. Dazzling, it has turquoise lakes and bright, leafy trees, which create a beautiful contrast!

4. Goreme National Park, in Türkiye. It’s an incredible place to visit and, if you want, take a ride in a hot air balloon, with a sensational landscape.

5. Jostedalsbreen National Park, in Norway. It is the largest glacier in continental Europe. If you go during the Winter or early Spring, you can take a tour under the glacier and in the Blue Ice Cave.

6. Gorges du Verdon, in France. In the Provence is the largest canyon in Europe, with emerald water, coming from the glaciers of the Alps. You can drive to Lac Ste-Croix du Verdon, head to L’Etoile and rent a pedal boat, a boat or a kayak. But if you’re looking for a great adventure, set your route past Trigance and head towards the Pont d’Artuby (20 minutes away), where the highest bungee jumps in Europe are.
